This Is America.
Over 100,000 citizens and counting have raised more than $7 million to independently fund the U.S. border dividing Mexico from the United States.
The GoFundMe campaign (which we won’t link to) was started by Brian Kolfage, a triple amputee veteran and Purple Heart Recipient who has no affiliation to the United States Government.
The Florida resident aims to “give the people the power” after both Congress and Mexico have refused to fund the wall. Taking matters into his own hands, Kolfage started “We The People Will Fund The Wall.” Within 72 hours, the 37-year-old has managed to raise enough money to return all of the children displaced at the border back into their homes.

President Donald Trump was denied the $5 billion dollars in government funds needed to support the border’s construction, prompting White House press secretary Sarah Sanders to announce the administration would be seeking alternative methods to fund the wall and almost out of thin air this petition was started.
Calling on all the Trump supporters who voted during the 2016 elections, the veteran insisted “If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledge $80, we can build the wall.” That equates to roughly 5 billion dollars, even if we get half, that’s half the wall. We can do this.”
Yeah, this is America.
