Radio personality Charlamagne tha God has remained vocal on this year’s election, using his social media platform to speak out on the lack of seriousness within the presidential race. One person in particular that’s received a response from The Breakfast Club host remains Donald Trump.
In an interview with Sirius XM’s The Karen Hunter Show, Charlamagne had a few words for Trump, The Root reports. “The soul of the country is at stake in this election. That’s all he’s doing, is preying directly on [poor white people],” he said.
The Uncommon Sense anchor later continued, “I was in South Carolina around two weeks ago. As I drove through Columbia, all of those camouflage trucks, those pickup trucks I used to see with the Dixie flags on ’em, [now have] Trump bumper stickers. Trump bumper stickers.”
He then proceeded to state that Trump is igniting a sense of hate in certain American people again, adding, “Trump bumper sticker is the new Confederate flag. Absolutely. All Donald Trump is doing is making America hate again.” Recently, there have been a string of physical altercations between Trump supporters and protestors at his rallies in the South, with little to no authority intervention.
