Al Roker is not here for Ryan Lochte’s lies, and made it very clear while debating Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush this weekend.
“He lied to you, he lied to Matt Lauer, he lied to his mom,” the NBC weather anchor said to 43-year-old Bush. “He left his teammates hanging while he skedaddled. There was no robbery, there was no pull over. He lied.”
Bush however tried to defend Lochte’s actions by saying the 32-year-old gold medalist”embellished some details.” Anchor Natalie Morales also was taken back by Bush’s light characterization with Lochte’s actions, but didn’t outright side with the veteran weatherman.
Putting the debate to bed, Roker said “let’s agree to disagree.” However, Cafe.com put together a viral video equipped with bells accenting all of Roker’s talking points and buzzers that demonstrated Bush’s.
