Just as famous for his lead bucket scoring as he his for his clap backs, New York Knicks’ power forward Carmelo Anthony dropped a few choice words on Instagram for a particular Knicks fan who seems vexed by his presence on the team.
According to ESPN, the fan commented on Anthony’s competency in basketball, questioning if he even cared about basketball. Anthony, who is known for taking shots on and off the court for fans with slick comments, gave the fan a few pointers on his history with the Knicks.
“Shows how little you know about me,” Carmelo wrote. “Staying in NY shows that I do care. If I would have left, what would you have said then? ‘Oh, Melos wack for leaving. He turned his back on NY.’ FOH. You are stuck with me buddy. Deal with it. If you want me gone, I’ll personally walk you into the front office so you can plead your case of the Knicks trading me. Hope you have bail money bc they might have you arrested for Disturbing the Peace.”
We would hope by now fans realized that Melo isn’t one to hold his tongue, considering a 2013 Twitter tiff with a fan who claimed that Melo’s lack of rings were a huge disappointment:
@carmeloanthony how about you win a ring you fucking kill me man rooting for you all the fucking time annd you always disappoint me

@__Kingsleyy5 I didn't ask for your glazed donut face ass to root for me anyway!!!!

On a lighter note, Melo is making a comeback with this week’s Team USA workouts alongside Oklahoma City’s humble pier Kevin Durant. Rumor has it that Melo is planning to compete with the national team for the 2016 Olympics, and is required to attend the three-day camp to ball out for the basketball star-studded USA team.
