
San Francisco 49ers player Colin Kaepernick’s rightfully protesting social injustice by taking a knee instead of pledging allegiance during the national anthem has brought him a lot of attention lately.
When Kaepernick first started his protest in the beginning of the season, he was a backup quarterback, but his job position has changed.
San Francisco 49ers football coach, Chip Kelly, announced Tuesday (Oct. 11), that Kaepernick will be the starting quarterback when the Niners take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday (Oct. 16).
