Your parents favorite show, Dancing With The Stars, is back and filled with competiors from the sports world. The 22nd season will star Antonio Brown of the Pitsburg Steelers, Von Miller, defensive end of the Denver Broncos, former NFL quaterback Doug Flutie and UFC fighter Paige VanZant, ESPN reports.
Speaking with ESPN on Monday, Brown explained he would like to use the opporunity to make his football moves more fluid. “Being able to move with good posture,” Brown said about preparing for the dance comepition. “As a football player, we want to move as explosive as we can with no technique and be as fast and fluid as we can. Just learning how to move with good posture and keeping my shoulders down.”
ABC might have noticed that viewers simply adore athletes. After all, there was a point in the series that featured four consecutive athlete wins, from Emmitt Smith, Apolo Ohno, Helio Castroneves and Kristi Yamaguchi. Season 14 was the last pro athlete win with Donald Driver taking home the glittery trophy.
Brown, Miller and Fluite posted their portraits with their partners, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson and Karina Smirnoff, repsectively.
