Bad news for the Orlando Magic. Forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis broke his foot Wednesday night, and surgery Friday may sideline him for the rest of the season.
Just when it couldn’t get worse for the Magic, Davis breaks his foot. It’s been an injury-plagued season for Big Baby already, so seeing Davis break his foot is just the icing on the cake.
The Magic are already lottery bound at 14-31, and when Davis breaks foot Wednesday vs. the Knicks, the season got a little worse. A team feeling the sting of losing Dwight Howard during the offseason is continuing to flounder.
Davis’ broken foot will be operated on on Friday, and he is expected to miss 8-12 weeks, which would put him at best returning in the beginning of April.
