Season-altering news arrives from the Chicago Bulls’ camp after their star player, Derrick Rose, suffered a knee injury.
The point guard tore his meniscus in his right knee which will tentatively end his season due to surgery and recovery. According to ESPN, this is the same injury Rose encountered on Nov. 22, 2013 during regulation against the Portland Trail Blazers.
No word on an exact date when the 26-year-old pro-athlete will return to the court, but the well wishes he’s received from his NBA counterparts might help him to get back on his feet once he recovers. Lil Wayne even took to his Twitter account to reveal that he shed a tear upon hearing D. Rose’s news.
