It looks like Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao’s recent meeting was the jolt the two fighters needed to get the ball rolling. According to TMZ, the fight we’ve all been waiting for has finally been agreed to.
Reportedly arriving to their decision last night (Jan. 30), Mayweather and Pacquiao’s fight has been scheduled to go down in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Originally proposed as a May 2 bout, the date for the fight has not been divulged, but there were only a few slots left on Showtime’s schedule. As Pacquiao remains under contract with HBO, the two networks have expressed an interest in doing a dual pay-per-view broadcast (so you know it’s real).
