Floyd Mayweather’s famous opponent Manny Pacquiao has come under fire for saying that gay people are “worse than animals.” Now, the Money Team’s leader is speaking out about tolerance for others.
“We should stay positive,” the undefeated boxer told TMZ Sports’ cameras in NYC today (Feb. 16). “We should let people live their lives the way they want to live their lives. I don’t have nothing against anyone…To each his own.”
Pacquiao, who has apologized for his insensitive remarks, said originally, “If you have male-to-male or female-to-female [relationships], then people are worse than animals.” It’s clear that Mayweather does not share the same beliefs.
