According to multiple reports and CBS Sports’ NFL insider Jason La Canfora, Detroit Lions’ defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is expected to sign with Roc Nation Sports within the next few weeks. Suh was chosen second overall by the Lions in the 2010 draft, garnering an unprecedented five-year, $68 million contract, which included a guaranteed $40 million. His agent, Roosevelt Barnes helped negotiate the richest rookie contract in league history, however Suh has allegedly recently broken ties with Barnes. Suh is entering the final year of his rookie contract and the Lions are poised to make an offer that could make Suh the highest paid defensive player in history. The 27-year-old NFL star has also been spotted at multiple Jay Z concerts in recent weeks. Last December, at a concert in Nebraska, Jay Z wore Suh’s black Nebraska college jersey with his No. 93 and his alias “S. Carter” on the back. The three-time pro-Bowler has endured an embattled three seasons in the league but could potentially join Hov’s Roc roster, which already includes NFL signees Victor Cruz and Geno Smith.
