The St. Louis Rams ended a five-game losing streak, and what better way to celebrate by getting a surprise visit from Jay Z? Hov made the Rams’ win even sweeter on Sunday (Dec. 13) when he paid a surprise visit to the team’s home locker room. While running back Todd Gurley, the newest signee to Roc Nation, may be the only one to have a business relationship with Hov, all the players reaped the benefits of seeing him the flesh.
Jay Z’s visit seemed to have come at the perfect time for the Rams, as they were celebrating a win against the Detroit Lions. Can’t be too sure that the rap mogul was the NFL team’s good luck charm, but the surprise did at least coincide with the win.
In the short clip captured on Twitter, Jay Z led the team in their “1-2-3” victory chant and joined in the team huddle. Like player Chris Long said, the Rams won a game and got to kick it with Jay Z; not a bad way to end the night.
