Allow LeBron James to get you hype for the imminent return of Kendrick Lamar. On Thursday afternoon (April 13), the Cleveland Cavalier decided to give Instagram followers a musical taste of Lamar’s forthcoming DAMN. album, which is set for April 14 — religiously known as Good Friday.
Dubbed A&R LeBron, the three-time NBA champion captioned a series of videos with the fire emoji and thanked the Compton native and TDE’s CEO, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, for the soundscape ahead of Saturday’s Playoff series (April 15).
Bleacher Report writer, Tyler Conway, captured the moments on Twitter, per Complex.
