There’s good news in the midst of a devastating week for Lamar Odom. The former NBA star was able to open his eyes Friday morning (Oct. 16) along with also being able to effectively communicate, USA Today Sports reports.
After being held in intensive care at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. since Tuesday, with loved ones by his side since, Odom was able to make slight progress.
The new development in the situation has not only showed positive signs of life for Odom, but as well for family and friends close to him such as his children and some of his closest former teammates who have considered Odom their “brother.”
The source, who chose to stay anonymous due to dealing with such a fragile situation, said that Odom’s heart even showed signs of increased function. The road to recovery looks to be on the ups for Odom and we hope it continues to go in that direction.
