Sad news has rocked the WWE entity with reports that one of their legendary figures, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, has passed away at the age of 61.
Born Roderick George Toombs, the hall of famer suffered from cardiac arrest, TMZ reports. He was found at his Hollywood, Calif. home on Friday afternoon (July 31).
Condolences also poured in from close friends and entertainers.

Piper was also a revered actor, having appeared in films like They Live, Sci-Fighters, and Jungleground. He is survived by his wife, Kitty, and four children.
