The 10 Most Random Artists Eminem Has Dissed Over The Years

The Target: Moby
When Eminem Dissed Him: On 2002's "Without Me," he rapped, "And Moby, you can get stomped by Obie/You 36-year-old bald-headed fag, blow me/You don't know me, you're too old, let go/It's over, nobody listens to techno"
Why It Was Random: Prior to dissing Moby, most of the shots that Em had taken at fellow artists were limited to underground rappers and pop stars. But when Moby took a not-so-subtle shot at Em's homophobic lyrics, Em responded with, well, more homophobic lyrics. Surprised? No. But we were a little puzzled with just how far Em went to make a point while dissing Moby.

The Target: Mariah Carey
When Eminem Dissed Her: On 2002's "When the Music Stops," he rapped, "What the fuck you take me for, a joke? You smoking crack?/Before I do that, I beg Mariah to take me back"
Why It Was Random: We had all heard the rumors about Em and Mariah dating. But we didn't expect Em to address those rumors again and again and again on songs. We're still not 100 percent sure they actually dated. But Em sure made it sound like it on a string of songs.

The Target: Nick Cannon
When Eminem Dissed Him: On 2009's "Bagpipes From Baghdad," he rapped, "I ain't playing no fuckin' more/Nick Cannon, you prick, I wish you luck with the whore"
Why It Was Random: In 2009, Em was still throwing shots Mariah's way. And by then, he was bringing Mariah's significant other into the mix, too. He has refused to stop addressing the Mariah situation over the years.

The Target: Jessica Simpson
When Eminem Dissed Him: On 2004's "Ass Like That," he rapped, "Jessica Simpson, looks oh so tempting/Nick, I ain't never seen an ass like that"
Why It Was Random: A lot of the shots that Em took at pop stars at the beginning of his career were lewd, crude and downright rude. But by 2004, Em was a kinder, gentler, er…Okay, he was still lewd, crude and downright rude. But he found a (somewhat) nicer way to go about throwing shots at pop stars when he made Jessica Simpson one of his victims. Think she appreciated this shout-out? Yes, us either.

The Target: Everlast
When Eminem Dissed Him: On 2000's "I Remember," he rapped, "There once was a man who liked to jump around/But he got too old to jump up and down"
Why It Was Random: Em and Everlast reportedly got into a gigantic beef because Em once looked at Everlast funny. That led to Everlast throwing a subtle shot at Em on a Dilated Peoples song, Em recording this diss track, and them going back and forth for a few months. Looking back now, it all seems so trivial, doesn't it?

The Target: Christina Aguilera
When Eminem Dissed Her: On 2000's "Off the Wall," he rapped, "Causing terror to Christina Aguilera/When I grab her by the hair and drag her across the Sahara"
Why It Was Random: By this point, Em was no stranger to dissing pop stars. But the fact that he dissed Aguilera and said this about her was pretty shocking.

The Target: Michael Jackson
When Eminem Dissed Him: On 2004's "Just Lose It," he rapped, "What else could I possibly do to make noise?/I've done touched on everything but little boys/That's not a stab at Michael/That's just a metaphor, I'm just psycho," and also dressed as MJ in the music video for the song
Why It Was Random: Doesn't it feel like Em should have dissed MJ looooooong before 2004? He was the perfect target. But Em more than made up for it by firing shots at Michael and working him into his music video. Michael didn't appreciate Em doing it and called him out for it.

The Targets: Jennifer Lopez and Puff Daddy
When Eminem Dissed Them: On 2000's "I'm Back," he rapped, "Cause if I ever stuck it to any singer in showbiz/It'd be Jennifer Lopez and Puffy you know this/I'm sorry, Puff, but I don't give a fuck if this chick was my own mother/I'd still fuck her with no rubber and cum inside her"
Why It Was Random: Um, do you want to go back and read the lyrics again? Random and disgusting. Em pretty much proved that nothing was off limits on this track.

The Target: John Mayer
When Eminem Dissed Him: On 2009's "We Made You," he rapped, "And little did I mention that Jennifer's in/Love with me, John Mayer, so sit on the bench"
Why It Was Random: Both the Jennifer Aniston and the John Mayer references were random. Plus, were those two even together anymore by the time this song dropped? Em should have known better than to try and stick a pop culture reference like Mayer's latest girlfriend into a song. It probably sounded dated the minute he wrote it.

The Target: Vanilla Ice
When Eminem Dissed Him: On 2000's "Marshall Mathers," he rapped, "Vanilla Ice don't like me, said some shit in VIBE to spite me/Then went and dyed his hair just like me"
Why It Was Random: A Vanilla Ice reference in the year 2000? That was about as random as it gets.
