5 Reasons Why Mat Zo's Live Act Rules

December 27, 2013 - 5:33 pm by Evan Fasanella

On an exceptionally warm Friday this month, Mat Zo (Matan Zohar) headlined Pacha NYC with Treasure Fingers, who has accompanied Zohar on the “Damage Control” tour, named for Zo’s latest album. Treasure Fingers, born Ashley Scott Jones, has been substantially recognized for his tech-house and vintage disco sounds even before touring with the acclaimed producer Mat Zo. Treasure Fingers held the spotlight until 2am before Zo took the already-raging crowd into higher state of sound. Mat Zo's album Damage Control breaks away from mainstream dance music and follows an artistic pattern, which cannot be reduced to one, or two, or even five genres. Needless to day, Zo’s stint at Pacha had the dance floor moving until closing time. We subsequently compiled the top reasons why a Mat Zo show never fails to please. >>>>>>

5. Any typical Mat Zo show can furnish a music appetite for the most diverse of crowds. With the incorporation of his mature tech/house synths, his trappy/dubby breaks and true understanding of drum and bass, you might arrive sporting business attire and leave wearing a dozen kandi-bracelets and a spirit hood.
