Kris Jenner and Caitlyn have similar style tastes
Ms. Cait and Kris Jenner are sharing plates for the same fashion appetite. The 65-year-old pulled out a sleek, black Tom Ford number to show Kim while showing off her stunning new wardrobe to find out that Kris has the exact same dress in “chocolate brown.” Caitlyn then jokes about a potential headline from the fashion discovery. “Who wore it best? We gotta do that! Wouldn’t that be the funniest thing ever?”
Khloe Kardashian was not a fan of Cait's 'Vanity Fair' debut
While Caitlyn's Vanity Fair cover took Hollywood and the Internet by storm, there were a few critics from the Kardashian Clan who had mixed feelings. The youngest sister of the Kardashian clan, Khloe, wasn’t present during Episode 1 but Caitlyn reveals that of her stepchildren, Rob and Khloe were the only two who skipped out on meeting her in-person and that Khloe had an issue with Cait’s mentioning of their mother, Kris Jenner, in her Vanity Fair article.
Caitlyn's mother was a little nervous about the transition
Viewers meet Caitlyn’s mother during the series premiere. Esther Jenner was introduced to Cait for the first time, and admitted that she experienced some nervousness about their introduction. “'It is going to take some time to get used to, but I want to do what he wants,” Cait’s supportive mother said. She also expressed how proud she was of her coming out as a transgender woman, saying that she was even more proud of her in that moment than the Olympic gold medal win. “'I am more proud of him for the courage she has shown," she said. "I loved him with all my heart and I certainly love her with all my heart.”
Cait is not here for the paps
During the episode, Cait switched cars three times to avoid the paparazzi that weren’t so respectful of the transition. She mentioned that at one point following her debut, photos of her were up for grabs at $250,000 for any pap who could get a good shot of the LGBT activist. The lack of privacy she faces now as a transgender woman is one of the challenges she’ll need to learn to overcome as well.
