5 Things We Learned from Drake’s "Started From The Bottom" Video
Fresh off his win for Best Rap Album at the Grammy awards last night, Drake treated fans to a visual for his single “Started From The Bottom.” Like “HYFR,” the Little X-directed video finds Drake in true form, goofing around and having a ball with his Toronto boys. Here are some highlights that have us hitting replay.

Top Down in The Winter…That’s What Winners Do
Drake takes the “top down in the winter, that’s what winners do” lyric from his “Light It Up” seriously. In the middle of a blizzard (Nemo?), Drizzy ghost-rides around a moving Bentley convertible. No snow in his eye will stop his stunting!

Don’t Be Mad…CVS is Hiring
Rapper, singer, actor…store clerk? Drake proves that he has a knack for unloading boxes and stocking toothbrushes. He’s so good that he’s even promoted to Night Clerk over his boys. We always knew he was management material.

Drake’s Mom Ain’t Playing
Drake’s mom, Sandy Graham, makes a special cameo in the video. “I done kept it real from the jump/Living at my mama’s house we'd argue every month,” he raps on the song. Her ice grill says it all. Mrs. Graham is not happy with her son working as a Night Clerk with his friends.

OB O’Brien and OVO Ryan are Hilarious
“Yo! Your girlfriend is on the phone man. She sounds super pregnant!” The mini skit between rapper OB O’Brien and Drake’s homie Ryan Silverstein is hilarious and just skeevy enough that we’ll never buy body wash from either of them. But maybe Drake can bring back their comedy stylings as an interlude on Nothing Was The Same?

OVO Merch is Mandatory
Unless you’re willing to buy a $38 Started From The Bottom t-shirt, don’t bother trying to rock with Drake and his friends. Literally everyone at his island throwdown in the end of the video is rocking his official merchandise. No OVO shirt? No service. Unfortunately, most of the swag is sold out on Drake’s official website. No New Friends, literally. The Vibe Mix Newsletter
