7 Artists Who've Used Accents In Songs

September 25, 2013 - 5:55 pm by VIBE

Britney Spears is back on pop's radar with her most recent single, “Work Bitch.” The bass-thumping track finds Spears singing with a British accent, similar to her previous song with Will. i. Am, “Scream & Shout.” The “Toxic” singer isn’t the first and most certainly won’t be the last artist to belt out lyrics in an accent that's not his/her native tongue. Check out a few other musicians who’ve adopted another sound in song.
