7 Reasons Why Signing To Roc Nation Is Good For Young Jeezy's Career
Young Jeezy is officially running with a new team. Late last week, the Atlanta rapper announced that both he and his label CTE are joining forces with Jay Z's Roc Nation as part of a management deal. It's still unclear exactly what role Roc Nation will play. But we think Jeezy's running with a strong team now—one that will hopefully take him to new heights in the near future.
If Jay Z & Co. are able to help him with any of the things listed here, then we think he made the right move aligning himself with the Roc.

Reason #1: The chances of Jeezy landing endorsement deals will increase as a result of his affiliation with Roc Nation.
Roc Nation hasn't been around for that long. But already, the company has shown an ability to seek out and land endorsement deals for its artists, from Rihanna to Rita Ora. We're willing to bet they'll be able to do it for Jeezy, too.

Reason #2: Roc Nation can help Jeezy release his next album more quickly.
Jeezy went on a Twitter tirade recently that started because Def Jam has been dragging their feet when it comes to releasing his next project. Yes, the Roc is still sitting on a Jay Electronica album. But hopefully, Jeezy won't have to take to Twitter anymore to get his label to make moves on his behalf. Instead, he'll be able to work with Roc Nation to make sure that his album receives the attention it deserves so it can come out sometime in the not-too-distant future.

Reason #3: Jeezy should get the opportunity to perform at lots of high-profile shows and events because of Roc Nation.
As far as touring goes, it seems like Jeezy does a lot of it, but he's sure to get an even bigger boost. He'll likely get to perform at events like Jay Z's annual Made In America festival and at various Jay Z performances throughout the year. There's a lot of money to be made through touring these days. And Roc Nation's job is to help Jeezy land the best gigs possible.

Reason #4: Roc Nation can make a lot of Jeezy's dreams outside of music a reality.
There are some things outside of music that Jeezy has attempted to do. But he's struggled to get a lot of his extracurricular ideas off the ground, mostly because it's difficult to do it without someone like Jay Z backing you. But now that he has Jay in his corner, sneaker deals and liquor endorsements will be a lot easier to come by. There are probably a million and one other things that Jeezy wants to do, too. And signing with Roc Nation will make those things possible.

Reason #5: Jeezy is now affiliated with singers, rappers, producers, songwriters and more who can help him with all of his future projects.
What is Jeezy looking to do on his next album? Get a Rihanna future? That's no problem. She's down with Roc Nation. Work with DJ Mustard? He just got down with the Roc, too. Have the best song of his career written? Maybe James Fauntleroy II could help with that. Bottom line, Roc Nation is filled with talented people. And now, they're all just one call away for Jeezy.

Reason #6: Jeezy was apparently able to work CTE into his Roc Nation deal as well.
Jeezy's record label probably hasn't been as successful as he hoped it would be when he first started it. He's had quite a few talented artists on the label. But CTE hasn't really broken a HUGE artist yet. So Roc Nation might be able to give CTE the structure it needs to succeed in the future. By working CTE into the mix when he signed with Roc Nation, Jeezy set up both himself and his label for longterm success.

Reason #7: Simply being affiliated with Roc Nation makes Jeezy's entire brand stronger.
Perception is reality. So before Jeezy signed to Roc Nation, we were a little skeptical about what his next album was going to sound like and where he was going to go next in his career. But now that he's down with the Roc, we're confident in the fact that Jeezy is going to do bigger and better things than he has ever done before. And we're confident because we know Jay Z and Roc Nation are behind him now. So who's gon' stop him, huh?
