Hip-hop's best and brightest crews flooded the airwaves last night (Oct. 15), as the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards delivered some of the most tweeted about moments. Hosted by West Coast OG Snoop Lion, the annual celebration found the rap game taking notice of Top Dawg Entertainment's stance as the No. 1 crew in hip-hop, Lil' Kim's newest protégé, and MC Lyte awarded for paving the way for the culture.

All highlights and gritty black-and-white cyphers aside, the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards was full of levity, crazy pyrotechnics and dead serious spit sessions. That said, the tweets were alive and clicking. Check out the 15 best from last night's ceremony.
