Bobby Brown Says Bobbi Kristina Is 'Doing Much Better'

With the world still grieving over the loss of legendary R&B singer Whitney Houston, the late songstress' daughter, Bobbi Kristina, may be having the toughest time of all.

Her father, Bobby Brown, has given an update on Bobbi and how the family dealing with the loss. The 18-year old was taken to the hospital twice to be treated for anxiety after having a breakdown.

"My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better," Bobby Brown said in a statement.

"We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother's death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected."

In related news, plans for a Whitney Houston public memorial have been cancelled, due to a request from her family. Reps for Newark mayor Cory Booker told TMZ, "The Houston family has no plans to set up a public viewing at the Prudential Center this Friday." They added, "In compliance with the family’s wishes the city is not moving forward with any public ceremony."
