Nothin' In The Oven: 5 Bogus Baby Bump Rumors
In the age of social media, baby bump rumors is everyday news. Case in point: Nicki Minaj affectionately referring to Meek Mill as her “baby’s father” during the Pinkprint tour. Social media and fans in attendance alike gushed over the couple’s flirty on-stage PDA, injecting pregnancy rumors onto timelines everywhere.
But Omeeka isn’t the only pair that Twitter has attempted to impregnate. Many celebs have found their names pinned beside the word "pregnant" in tabloid headlines, especially after flaunting a little belly post-lunch. VIBE ran through the rumor mill and found five women who have shut down pregnancy rumors.
In true Media Take Out fashion, the gossip blog published an “exclusive” story on Erykah Badu’s alleged pregnancy after a performance where Ms. Fat Belly Bella reportedly looked like she had a baby bump. MTO then pinned the cause-of-pregnancy on Jay Electronica, causing the neo-soulstress to shut the rumors down on Twitter as she reassured fans she wasn’t pregnant. “Just fat,” she said.
