Busta Rhymes Had #HotForTheHolidays On Tilt With Mary J. Blige, Redman And Method Man, Lil Kim & More

December 6, 2015 - 1:20 pm by Iyana Robertson TWITTER

Busta Rhymes' "Hot For The Holidays" concert was the definition of lit.

Busta Rhymes brought out everybody and their mama for his "Hot For The Holidays" with Footaction & HOT97 concert on Saturday night (Dec. 5).

Fulfilling his promise for an extra-special show, Bussa Buss enlisted the help of legends and newcomers alike, running through guest sets from Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Lil Kim, Puff Daddy, Naughty By Nature, A Tribe Called Quest and Raekwon. Along with calling on his Leaders of the New School and Flipmode cliques, Busta also enlisted today’s hottest acts such as Fetty Wap, Rick Ross, French Montana, Jeremih and Lil Wayne.

As one might imagine, an all-star guest list includes a multitude of moments. From Mary’s reunion with Lil Kim for “I Can Love U,” to Method Man and Redman’s performance of “Da Rockwilder,” to Puff Daddy’s “All About The Benjamins,” the Prudential Center crowd was on tilt for the festivities. Classic rap fans indulged in A Tribe Called Quest’s “Scenario (Remix),” while lovers of later classics got to see Lil Wayne perform “A Milli.” Busta Rhymes also offered some of his best collaborations, including “I Know What You Want” alongside Carey, and “Pass The Courvoisier.”

In short, it was lit. Peep clips and flip through photos while being sad that you weren’t there. Special thanks to Footaction for the backstage access!
