Cash Out: Rap Posses Lil Wayne Could Join
Lil' Wayne rudely interrupted Jay Z's birthday (Dec. 4) by letting the world know via Twitter that he doesn't fuck with his own label. After explaining that his upcoming album Tha Carter V is being held hostage by Baby and Cash Money Records, Weezy said he wanted out.
"I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy," he wrote. "I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don't blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u."
While TMZ tried to badger his manager Cortez Bryant, very little is known of this rift in the Cash Money camp. As more details surface, the VIBE staff tried to envision a world where Lil' Wayne enlisted in other rap posses. See the results above.
