Celebrities React To The Police-Related Death Of Michael Brown

August 10, 2014 - 6:00 pm by Stacy-Ann Ellis TWITTER

Yesterday, the black community was up in arms as police senselessly took the life of one of their own. At around noon on Aug.9, 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot multiple times by police in Ferguson, Missouri. As is the case for many of the recent police-related deaths, he was unarmed.

Aside from residents of the St. Louis suburb, community leaders and celebrities alike have reacted with rage and support of finding justice for Brown.

Popular figureheads from Al Sharpton to Young Jeezy to Chingy have taken to social media to speak out against the trend of innocent African Americans being killed by armed "enforcers." Flip through to see what they had to say.
