The Women Of Bad Boy: Lil’ Kim, Faith Evans, And Total Honored At Ciroc Brunch
It's a celebration! With Bad Boy Records clocking more than 20 years in the music game, it’s only right to salute the women who helped solidify the label's legacy.
Lil’ Kim, Faith Evans, and Total, were the guests of honor at Ciroc's Empowerment Brunch at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Friday (June 23).
The event, which also recognized choreographer and Laurianne Gibson, was centered around women's empowerment, and celebrating the pioneering artists of Bad Boy.
“I have bigger aspirations,” Kim told the room while accepting a 2017 Women of Empowerment plaque, which was presented to all of the honorees. “I don’t want to watch a 19-inch T.V., I want a 100-inch T.V. because I feel like my life needs to be on a 100-inch T.V., and that’s the bigger picture for me. I always feel like the bigger picture is important.
“I want to bring everybody where I want to go,” added the Queen Bee. “I don’t want to be a millionaire, I want to be a billionaire. So we [have to] move differently and think differently, and supporting each other is something I will always do.”
Kimmy Blanco went on to send a shoutout to Evans and Total, before sharing a hilarious impersonation of Gibson.
The celebrity guest list also included Mona Scott Young, Eva Marcelle, Bre-Z, and Tichina Arnold.
