Daniel Wellington Brings Its First Holiday Pop Up Shop To New York City
The Swedish label debuts its new premier pop-up shop in Manhattan's Lower East Side and showcases its men's & women's collections.
Just in time for the holidays, global watch company Daniel Wellington has made its way to the Big Apple. While it's undeniably recognized in the cyber world for its renowned and high quality watches, its new East Coast location gives the timeless brand a chance to engage with its large following and foster an even larger one.
The Swedish label recently debuted its very first pop-up shop in the fashion-forward, lower Manhattan area of New York City (Nov. 20), and showcased its premier, women's and men's watch collections (including the exclusive Dapper collection) to a select number of media and fashion professionals.
The inviting shop, which draw influences from a previous concept called, "Drink with Daniel Wellington," invited guests to browse the wooden watch bar, share images of their custom watches with the hashtag #DWPopUpNYC, while conversing over custom cocktails fused with Purity Vodka and more. While the classic timepieces displayed a minimalistic look, there definitely appeared to be many intricate design elements incorporated into every piece.
"Full of inspiration, culture and history, New York is a trend-setting city that sets the standards for style, fashion, art, and music. It is an ideal place for a Daniel Wellington pop-up shop, and we are thrilled to further introduce the brand to all our fans living in or visiting New York. Strategically situated in the Lower East Side, the DW pop-up is at the crossroads of where creatives work and play, and welcomes the unique energy of the neighborhood. In 2014, we opened offices in New York and Los Angeles to meet the increasing demand for the brand in the US, and we wish to compliment our growth by telling a unique story." - Founder Filip Tysander
As for the Daniel Wellington pop up shop, it will be in town (at 355 Bowery) throughout the holidays until December 20th. And in case you will not be able to enjoy a cocktail with the DW brand, a Black Friday and Cyber and Cyber Monday sale will be available with a 25% off deal. But if you are in the New York City area, make your way over to their newest, temporary location and snag yourself a timeless Daniel Wellington watch.
