Fails Of The Week: Cee-Lo, Floyd Mayweather, Apollo And More
September 5, 2014 - 6:52 pm
Who: Cee-Lo What: After Cee-Lo posted some very unwise tweets about rape (after pleading no contest in a rape case), TBS cancelled the rapper’s reality show. Redemption: The show was apparently nixed due to ratings, not his tweets, which isn’t any better.
What: Over the weekend, a boatload of celebrity nudes hit the Internet, including Jennifer Lawrence’s and Kate Upton’s, after a hacker got through Apple’s iCloud security, or lack thereof.
Redemption: Apple initially made like Silkk the Shocker and said “It ain’t our fault!” The company is now looking into better security measures. Late pass.
Who: Sisqo and Kyle Norman
What: The two R&B singers got into a brawl backstage at a concert in California.
Redemption: R&Beef? Hardly. They shook hands afterward, so it couldn't have been that serious.
Who: Floyd Mayweather
What: The boxer’s ex-fiancee Shantel Jackson filed a lawsuit against him for assault. Jackson alleges that Floyd choked her and pulled a gun on her.
Redemption: No excuse for domestic violence.
Who: Apollo Nida
What: Before he begins serving his eight-year prison sentence next week, Apollo is reportedly trying to knock out a tell-all memoir. Doesn't sound like a smart idea...
Redemption: But at least it's a legal hustle.
