First Look: Kanye West As Retro Reporter In Will Ferrell's 'Anchorman 2'

In case you're still skeptical about Kanye West's role in 2013's most anticipated comedy, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, here's confirmation in the form of new images. The rap god appears during a fight among rival news teams -- a scene that should recall the first Anchorman brawl.

Sporting a wig that looks straight from Robert Downey Jr.'s closet, West seems to be playing an '80s MTV VJ. The images find him immersed in battle, wielding a hockey stick as a weapon, and even chatting with the film's star Will Ferrell during some downtime.

Director Adam McKay has about seven months to complete shooting, as the sequel hits theaters on December 20, starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Christina Applegate and Kristen Wiig. Other cameos include Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Sacha Baron Cohen and Nicole Kidman.
