NFL Week 1 Recap: 7 Things We Learned On Sunday
It was a thrilling Sunday in the NFL, which featured 11 games decided by a touchdown or less.
The first NFL Sunday of 2016 (Sept. 11) came and went, but not without its fair share of excitement. Eleven games were decided by less than a touchdown, making for numerous fantastic finishes throughout the day.
In a league built on parity, one game could determine whether or not your team reaches the post-season, that is why every game means so much in the NFL. Because the season is not defined by September play, however, it doesn't mean you should be panicking after game one.
Peep the seven things (above) we learned on the first Sunday of the National Football League.

Yeezy Cleats Are A Thing

Young Quarterbacks Shine
The NFL is a quarterback driven league and you need one to be a successful franchise. We saw a few youngins take that next step toward being great this week, now if only they can sustain it for the rest of the year.
Second overall pick Carson Wentz looked terrific in his NFL debut yesterday against the Browns. Throwing for 278 yards and 2 touchdowns has Eagles fans confident they found their franchise QB.
Jameis Winston also put together a stellar performance down in Atlanta yesterday, torching the Falcon secondary for 4 touchdown passes and 281 yards. The Florida State product has a bright future.

The Patriots Still Run The NFL

Victor Cruz Is Back

The Oakland Raiders Give No F*cks
The Saints and Raiders matchup made for one of the best games this weeekend, that is if you enjoy only offense as no defense could seem to make a stop.
With just under a minute left the Oakland Raiders went for a game winning two point conversion to take the lead, which hasn't been done successfuly since 2008.
Derek Carr threw a beautifully placed ball for Michael Crabtree to go up and get it, and the former 49er hauled in with the game winning conversion to make the score 35-34. Check it out below.

Is Revis Island Open For Business?
AJ Green facing off against Darrelle Revis made for one of the best matchups on paper this weekend. Green absolutely owned the Jets corner, catching all passes thrown his way, while the 10th year defender was in coverage.
Green ended the day reeling in 12 receptions for a Bengals opening day record, 180 yards and a touchdown.
Revis and the Jets will have to figure out a new gameplan to keep him from getting exposed going forward.
As a Jets fan it hurts me to ask this, but is Darrelle Revis no longer an elite corner?
