Lin-Manuel Miranda: The Underlying Factor Connecting Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and Biggie's Ten Crack Commandments
Here are the comparisons between Hamilton's "Ten Duel Commandments" spin-off and Biggie's "Ten Crack Commandments," and how it relates back to the Presidential candidates.
Lin-Manuel Miranda has utilized nearly every televised moment he’s accumulated to dump on Republican Presidential candidate, Donald Trump. His most recent anti-Trump moment occurred at a “Broadway meets Hollywood” benefit fundraiser in support of Hillary Clinton’s campaign this past Monday night (Oct. 17) in New York.
Miranda and fellow Hamilton cast mate, Renee Elise Goldsberry, banded together to re-spin their initial “Ten Duel Commandments” adaptation of the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Ten Crack Commandments”. The duo use each commandment to parley supportive bars for Clinton, prompting listeners to reach out to friends and family try to turn typically red states like Ohio blue and bring awareness to how close Clinton is to breaking a major glass ceiling.
