1. Tara and The Two Plan Bs
It boggles the mind how Peter Gunz has gone through life without hot grits burns all over his skin. Last night, the pariah to monogamy had the gall to complain about not being able to go through life without a woman nagging him. Well, Peter, if you stopped trolling the women in your life, you’d probably have an easier time in that department. Anyway, Amina wants Peter to wear a ring and he wears it only some of the time. Are you surprised? Exactly. So why is Amina acting brand new a man she met under false pretenses continuing to act phony about their relationship?
The second fool is Tara, who I hate to call that, but damn, homie, are you really sleeping with Peter after all of this? Tara claims that Peter approached her saying he would divorce Amina if it meant the two of them could repair their relationship and rebuild their family. Uh, he’s already cheated on you twice, Tara, and on top of that, you were the Amina in a previous setting. With all that in mind, why would you believe him? It’s hard to feel bad about a person who willingly chooses to engage with someone who has proven repeatedly that he will put himself first before anyone else.
If this doesn’t sound simp-like enough, Tara tells Peter that she wants a meeting with her, him, and Tara. Why? I presume to quote MoKenStef lyrics to her. I owe Mimi Faust an apology. She was never this bad. By the way, Tara reveals that she took two Plan Bs (aka the morning after pill) in one month. In other words, Tara continues to have unprotected sex with a known cheater. Whew, yesterday’s episode was brought to you by the letters S, T and D.

2. K. Michelle “Hates” The Blogs
As much as I enjoy K. Michelle’s music, I absolutely hate it when reality stars whine on TV about “the blogs” starting “rumors” that no one besides them and whatever producer created a fake site on the whim for a storyline know about. Exhibit A: K. Michelle complaining about “the blogs” claiming she was pregnant. As someone who unfortunately has no choice but to pay attention to celebrity gossip at present moment, no major blog ever said she was.
Now, there have been select blogs who have said nasty things about K. Michelle as a “joke,” but talk about that and don’t make it seem as if that’s the majority. The majority of the most popular blogs have done wonders with respect to promoting K. Michelle as an artist and helping her build an audience. K. Michelle should thank every blogger and social media account around for helping making fetch happen with her instead of crying fake tears on air. Nonetheless, shout out to all of K. Michelle’s fine arts teachers through the years. Job well done.

3. Tahiry’s Sister Is Tired of Playing Second Fiddle
After Tahiry sobers up, it hits her that the idea of doing a random fundraiser to build a church for her dad isn't the best idea. You know, since he needs a house first. Tahiry’s sister doesn't take it well, bursting into tears and running off. When Tahiry runs to comfort her, she starts boo hooing about always being turned down. I see now. She’s trying to find her way and has dealt with a lot of rejection, so it’s hard to even be told by her much better off older sister that her idea needs some work. Tahiry’s sister is Solange before the second album. Don’t worry, girl. It gets better!
Speaking of struggles to get it right, hand clap for Saigon for apologizing to Erica Jean for acting an ass and inviting her to therapy to see what they can do to be better for the betterment of their child together. You’re next, everyone else on the show.

4. Yandy Has Been Strong For Too Long
Yandy breaks down after expressing how overwhelmed she is with taking care of her family, tending to her businesses and dealing with the stress of her fiancé being in federal custody all by her lonesome. Rich tries to comfort her, telling her that she's a “strong black woman.” Right after, Yandy says she's tired of being “strong.” Considering all that she’s going through, you can’t blame her for wanting to be human and admit that the stress is getting to her and she’s struggling to do it all solo dolo.
A few weeks ago, there was a Buzzfeed article going around shouting out Scandal and Sleepy Hollow for helping eliminate the “strong black woman” trope that’s been a figment of pop culture imagination for years. Love & Hip-Hop did the same thing last night, though as one of my favorites on Twitter pointed out, “LHHNY just addressed the strong Black woman trope head-on but I guarangoddamntee you no one will properly address it in the postmortem.”
It’s a testament to the classism surrounding much of the criticism leveled at shows like Love & Hip-Hop. No matter, if no one else acknowledges what happened in that scene between Yandy and Rich, I will.

5. Peter Gunz: It’s Me or Erica
In their first post-Erica cuss out meeting of the minds, Peter Gunz flatly tells Rich Dollaz that it's “him or her.” Or as he puts it, “royalty or ratchet.” Excuse me, but what monarchy is Peter Gunz apart of? Wayward Dickonia. The Merry Land of Cheating Men? The nerve of a serial cheater to give a quick speech about the virtues of loyalty. Rich chooses Erica and although that may seem strange on the surface, I’d rather deal with a person with a loose mouth than I would a dude known to poke around – even when it comes to his business dealings.
As for Erica, she stresses to Rich that she's so hurt about the way he treated her and how deeply she cares about him. You get the sense that she’d be dating him if he’d allow it. Don’t tell Cyn Santana that, though, as they take a trip to Panama to shoot Erica’s calendar. That gets Erica to profess her love to Cyn. Then we get some softcare lesbian porn in the way of them in the bathtub together.
Cyn and Erica are like Nicki Minaj when she was pretending to be bisexual, only they're better saleswomen.
