After being privy to the sounds of Anguilla's Moonsplash Festival, it was only natural to create a starter playlist of our own.

There's something infectious about music from the islands, especially when it comes to the music. After being privy to the sounds of Bankie Banx Moonsplash Festival at Anguilla's Dune Preserve, it was only natural to take notes on some of the sounds from the three-night celebration. From the deeply rooted legacy of Bankie Banx and his son Omari Banks, to British Dependency's reggae rock fusion, to Mighty Mystic's odes to "Cali Green," there were plenty of sonic takeaways for unfamiliar earbuds.

To get ears prepped for the sounds of a vibesy summer, we've create a starter playlist of our own with some of our favorite Moonsplash performers.
