#VivaMexico: 11 Musical Gems Mexico Gave Us
Happy Mexican Independence Day!
While México and its future becomes more and more a point of conversation (or debate rather), the U.S. nation continues to benefit from a generation of Chicanos boasting economic power, political influence, richness in diversity and musical genius. The latter most easily apparent and undeniably impactful, thanks to the likes of Carlos Santana and Selena Quintanilla. In honor of Mexico's 205th anniversary of independence, we pay tribute to some of today's most beloved musicians of Mexican descent.
