Nas, Omari Hardwick, And More Celebrate Italia Independent x Ghostbusters Capsule

Socialites partied in style on May 20 in celebration of the Ghostbusters-inspired capsule collection created by lifestyle brand, Italia Independent's and Nas. The celebration commenced ahead of the Ghostbusters reboot's highly anticipated summer release.

Nas and Italia Independent teamed up for a limited edition capsule collection of luxury sunglasses inspired by the original Ghostbusters' notable characters. The eight-modeled sunglasses will feature oversized frames and classic shapes with movie-inspired digital printed patterns.

While the capsule is sold on Italia Independent's website as well as Hype Beast, many gathered to New York City's Soho neighborhood for an exclusive inside look. Attendees at the event included Power 105.1's Angela Yee , actors, Omari Hardwick, Malik Yoba and Wendell Pierce, and many more.

"Ghostbusters was one of my favorite childhood movies, and it was important to me to partner with a brand like Italia Independent for this collaboration because they understand style and culture," Nas said at the event. "I wanted to design a collection that speaks to the nostalgia of that era, while keeping it fresh fun, sleek and wearable."
