New York Comic Con 2013: The 15 Best Costumes We Saw

October 14, 2013 - 2:52 pm by Kevin L. Clark (@DLYDJ)

If you happen to live in the Tri-State area, you had no other place to be this past weekend other than at the Javits Center in Manhattan. Yes, you guessed correctly, the annual New York Comic Convention (also known as Comic Con) took place from October 10-13 and tons of people came from all over to partake in the festivities.

The four-day gala, which is one of the East Coast's biggest cultural events, celebrates everything from comics to video games to film. Other than Halloween, it's the one time of the year where fans, nerds and regular humans can all come together and show off their knowledge of all things geeky.

Out of the many things to get into, our favorite endeavor is to check out all the creative cosplayers who come to show off their imaginations. There were definitely some crazy homemade disguises, ingenious craftsmanship and plenty of superheroes at this year's New York Comic Con.

Check out some exceptional costumes we spotted as we made our way across the convention floor.
