A Stunning Look At Questlove's Trip To Cuba
A look at Cuba through Questlove's lens
Just days after President Barack Obama and Raul Castro sat down for their historic meeting in Panama, Questlove ventured out to La Llave del Caribe on a mission to captivate the hearts of the island's people with his prowess behind the turntable.

He took to La Fabrica de Arte Cubano (FAC) for a night of spinning before a crowd of Cubanos (April 16 – 17), a tour de force in DJing for the young natives that consider Ahmir an Ambassador of Hip-Hop to the Caribbean nation.
Apart from fulfilling his musical duties, Quest also indulged in a little tourism, during which he visited Teatro America in Havana (where The Roots performed circa 2002). He also ran into famous salsa crew Azucar Negra, who was shooting a video at the time.

As the afro'd musician who has a knack for storytelling (See: "Mo' Meta Blues"), Questo shared plenty of striking images throughout his excursion (above). That, plus the additional bevy of photos you'll see below, is proof Cuba's old-school beauty is worth seeing in person.
