Reality TV Recap: Deciphering The 'Football Wives' Stereotypes
The two-faced snob is usually disguised as the den mother. They pretend to be motherly and peaceful because they actually want to get all to juicy gossip, only to turn around and throw it back in people's faces with judgment. We could be wrong but with the way she was offended by Pilar and Melani’s exit from her Bible Study and the disingenuous way in which she accepted Melani's apology, all systems seem to point to go. The chances of her whispering behind their backs to the other women are highly probable.
FBW: Amanda Davis - The Two-Faced Snob
FBW: Chanita Foster - The B*tch
A reality TV show isn’t really "real" without the bitch. She’s usually loud obnoxious and unbearable to everyone. However, she doesn’t see it that way. In her mind, people just can’t handle a woman who is “outspoken.” Last night, Chanita indignantly expressed annoyance with Pilar for dipping out on Bible Study at Amanda’s house and the two got into it. It was a mild confrontation because when Pilar checked Chanita she backed down. But the bitch always comes back. From the looks of the trailer, this is only the beginning of what could possibly turn into screaming matches and cuss outs, with Chanita at the eye of the storm.
FBW: Erin Briar - The Other One
We can't remember whether she was in the episode or not. This might end up becoming a pattern. [Insert yawn here]
FBW: Melani Ismail - The Sidekick
The term sidekick sometimes has a negative connotation but not in Melani Ismail’s case. She’s simply the ride or die bestie who solidified her status by walking out of the three-hour bible study with Pilar, also for the movie premiere. This pair is probably going to get into a lot more trouble this season. Here's to tag teaming a la Evelyn Lozada and Jen Williams.
FBW: Pilar Sanders - The Diva
Pilar Sanders unleashed her diva beast last night when she abruptly left a three hour Bible Study for a movie premiere (we don't blame her). The other women were pissed off but Pilar made it clear to the women later on, that she could care less what they think. The diva can sometimes be misunderstood but we're not mad at Pilar and we can't wait for more break downs and tell offs.
