Samsung Celebrates Galaxy Note9 With Block Party Feat. Issa Rae, Logic And More

Between 13th and Little 12th Street, the interactive event took over Washington Street as attendees became some of the first to experience Samsung’s newest mobile device while enjoying music immersive tech experiences, local eats, and more.
The star-studded event kicked off with a toast by Insecure creator and actress Issa Rae, who shared with the crowd that after being a long time Samsung Note user, she can't help but call the device her “boss bitch phone.”
"I'm a Samsung loyalist. I've been using Samsung phones forever, and I really call it the 'boss bitch phone.' It really helps me to multi-task...I just love how Samsung empowers creators."
The evening continued with guest appearances from Fortnite streaming legend Tyler “Ninja” Blevins who spent his evening dueling fans on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Note9. FUBU founder and co-star of ABC's Emmy Award-winning Shark Tank, Daymond John, chatted it up for a broadcasted chat.
YouTuber Casey Neistat, Olympian and activist Gus Kenworthy, award-winning journalist and former editor in chief of Teen Vogue Elaine Welteroth and acclaimed radio personality and podcast host Guy Raz also made appearances.
