Remembering 9/11: Revisit These Heartfelt Quotes From Alicia Keys, Jay Z & More

September 11, 2015 - 10:30 am by Camille Augustin TWITTER

Remembering September 11 through these celebs' heartfelt quotes

Today marks 14 years since one of the world's most devastating terrorist attacks took place. On September 11, 2001, the Twin Towers were erased from the Manhattan skyline after two hijacked planes crashed into New York City buildings.

Thousands of lives were lost on that dark day, leaving family and friends with a hole in their hearts larger than the vacant plot the Towers left behind.

Now, as the world remembers the heroes and loved ones who have passed away, VIBE takes a look back at politicians and artists who've shared their heartfelt thoughts on 9/11 over the years.
