Snoop Lion, B.o.B., Busta Rhymes Share Songwriting Secrets at BMI's Pre-Grammy Event

February 10, 2013 - 4:37 pm by Christopher Harris

Global music rights leader Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) held its annual pre-Grammys “How I Wrote That Song” event on Feb. 9 in Los Angeles. The panel discussion was moderated by BMI Vice President Catherine Brewton. Grammy-nominated artists Snoop Lion, Busta Rhymes and B.o.B. joined award-winning songwriter Evan Bogart -- Bogart co-wrote Beyonce's "Halo" and Rihanna's "SOS" -- and hit country songwriter Luke Laird on the panel. Attendees received insight from each of the panelists on how their greatest hits originated and the process behind writing, producing and performing.
