Secret track weapon for making any club go mental?
Right now it’s a bootie I did of Deee-lite's "Groove Is In The Heart".
Wildest Ibiza memory?
First time I went to Space (as a clubber) and experienced what Ibiza was all about:
The atmosphere, the excitement, the music and the unity.
Best advice you ever got from a music industry person? Who was it?
I haven’t been given that much advice, but I got one recently from Simon Dunmore (Managing Director of Defected Redords), which made me think for a long time and actually change a few things professionally. He said, "Don’t lose track of who you are and what you represent with your music and your label (Noir Music)."
Describe your sound at the moment in one sentence.
Melancholic, heavy on the beats and basslines and super sexy.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
I am in the process of finishing my album, which I will be working on all summer.
It keeps me excited about producing music because your hands, ears and brain is free to do other stuff rather than just four to the floor. And of course, travelling the world for great club gigs, festivals my many dates at Ibiza this year.

Secret track weapon for making any club go mental?
Mark Henning ‘Exit Acid,’ or out of our tracks ‘Brick House’ and ‘Need In Me’.
Wildest Ibiza memory?
Last year at the "Lost in Ibiza" Boat Party a guy fell off the boat when we dropped "Need In Me" due to over excitement. Another epic moment was this year at Booom for Defected when Marco Carola and the "Music On" crew turned up and danced to our music.
Best advice you ever got from a music industry person? Who was it?
Simone Dunmore, boss at Defected Records, once told me to take it easy and enjoy ... that really is the secret!
Describe your sound at the moment in one sentence.
I can do it in one word: Flashmob.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
Playing Booom again for Defected in September, Tribal Sessions with Darius Syrossian (20th August) at Sankeys, Lakedance Festival (9th August) and going back to Ireland.

Secret track weapon for making any club go mental?
If it had to be one of my own it’d be ‘Doin Ya Thing.’ Probably because it was my first Beatport track and what a lot of people recognize, but it also depends on the club and the type of party.
Wildest Ibiza memory?
It was definitely my first-time appearance at Loco Dice’s Used+Abused party last summer. It set a standard for future Ibiza parties for sure.
Best advice you ever got from a music industry person? Who was it?
My cousin Jan. He introduced me to everything I know and he said that it’s more important to stick to your true music than to increase sales and sell yourself out.
Describe your sound at the moment in one sentence.
House core with hip house and Chicago elements.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
The wide range of parties this summer and the re-release of ‘Pushing On,' that’ll probably take things to an even higher level.

Wildest Ibiza memory?
Defected opening at Ushuaia! Crazy party from start to finish! The energy was unbelievable on the dance floor and behind the decks.
Best advice you ever got from a music industry person? Who was it?
Simon Dunmore always tells me to 'just be me.’ When you are yourself you play from the heart.

Secret track weapon for making any club go crazy?
The latest Yoruba Records release Mike Steva ‘Oro.’ This Balkan jam from Macedonia always takes the place to another level.
Wildest Ibiza memory?
Not much to report as I’m not the usual Ibiza wild boy type, outside of the clubs I prefer the quieter side of the island. That being said, the Defected crew and myself did manage a fairly lengthy bar hop after the opening party at Ushuaia last year.
Best advice you ever got from a music industry person? Who was it?
Be yourself and never follow trends. I’ve received this advice from several artists in the business that I respect.
Describe your sound at the moment in one sentence.
Honest soul made for the healing of one’s spirit.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
Suncebeat and Burning Man.
