SXSW 2015: Highlights From The Music Marathon

March 24, 2015 - 5:40 pm by VIBE

A recap of the good times from the four-day music marathon that was SXSW 2015.

There's a certain blueprint necessary to make it through South By Southwest—Austin's annual music and interactive festival—alive. For starters, expect very few hours of sleep, be open to free beverages and meals on the regular, and consume any and every music show you come across, just in case you discover a new act to plug into your iTunes.

From Tuesday night (March 17) to Saturday (March 22), the VIBE squad hopped into pedi cabs all over the Texas capital for daily rounds of good music, Kanye West signees included. See our 140-character recap of each show above.

Our tweet-long Review: Mass Appeal still carried the festival's indy spirit. While some companies made SXSW into one big ad, this BBQ was only about the music
