Instagram was cracking down on spam followers yesterday (Dec. 18) after wiping out more than 3.5 million fake followers in one fell swoop. Folks like Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber weren't hit as hard, while others, like Ma$e, lost well over 1.5 million, leaving him with only 272,000 followers.
