Year In Review: DJ Skee's Top 10 Guest Rap Verses Of 2010
Snoop Dogg On Dr. Dre's "Kush"
Pull Quote: "Still I am/tighter than the pants on Will.I.Am/Backthrow, back still, I have a pound in my backpack/Next to where the swishas at, smokin' presidential"
DJ Skee: Snoop on Dre’s Kush record, he has a dope verse. I like that, especially for Snoop. It’s Dre’s buzz single but Snoop talks about the pants on will.i.am, still I am—good stuff. He kind of goes in. That line just stuck in my head.

10) Guest Rap Verses: Snoop Dogg

9) Guest Rap Verses: Diddy
Diddy On Waka Flocka Flame's "O Let's Do It"
Pull Quote: "I got my billions up fucking with them white folk/Now I don't give a fuck cause I'm richer than them white folks"
DJ Skee: Diddy kind of went off on that. I don’t know if it’s up there for verses of the year but he definitely brought the energy.

8) Guest Rap Verses: J Cole
J. Cole On Kanye West's "Looking For Trouble"
DJ Skee: J. Cole has a bunch of dope verses on his Friday Night Lights mixtape. He’s been murdering. He killed it on the Good Friday track.

7) Guest Rap Verses: Drake
Drake On Lil Wayne's "Right Above It"
Pull Quote: "I got a couple cars I never get to use/Don’t like my women single, I like my chicks in twos"
DJ Skee: He comes in so crazy, his presence. Great record.

6) Guest Rap Verses: Rick Ross
Rick Ross On Kanye West's "Devil in a New Dress"
Pull Quote: "Had cyphers with Yeezy before his mouth wired/Before his jaw shattered climbin’ up the Lord’s ladder"
DJ Skee: Ricky Rozay has been murdering it all year long. That’s a great verse. That’s probably his best guest verse. Ross, it’s been a crazy year for him coming back from all that stuff and having one of the best hip-hop albums of the year.

5) Guest Rap Verses: Jay-Z
Jay-Z On Rick Ross' "Free Mason"
Pull Quote: "Bitch, I said that I'm amazin'/Not that I'm a mason"
DJ Skee: That verse is pretty crazy.

4) Guest Rap Verses: Lil Wayne
Lil Wayne On Drake's "Miss Me"
Pull Quote: "I walk light so I don’t piss the ground off/Man, I swear my bitches do it till they suck the brown off/Erghhhh, thats nasty"
DJ Skee: That record just goes crazy and that was Wayne right before he went in. that record tore up the clubs and radio all year long and it still does. I think that was arguably Wayne’s best verse of the year especially since he was quiet since he was in jail. [Laughs]

3) Guest Rap Verses: Kanye West
Kanye West On Chris Brown's "Deuces" Remix
Pull Quote: "Get your mind right baby or get your shit together/You gon be hot a little while/I'mma be rich forever"
DJ Skee: Kanye’s “Deuces Remix” verse where he’s going in on Amber Rose, talking about her, he killed it. That’s definitely up there. That’s a crazy ass remix. That should be up there for remix of the year.

2) Guest Rap Verses: Eminem
Eminem On B.o.B.'s "Airplanes"
Pull Quote: "Lets pretend Marshall Mathers never picked up a pen/Lets pretend things would have been no diff-er-ent/Pretend he procrastinated had no motivation/Pretend he just made excuses that were so paper thin."
DJ Skee: That whole record is just amazing and Em had arguably one of the greatest years of his career and 10 Grammy nominations and I’d definitely place that up there, top two verses of the year. He straight murdered that and it’s a great record overall, which helps.

1) Guest Rap Verses: Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj On Kanye West's "Monster"
Pull Quote: "So let me get this straight wait I’m the rookie? But my features and my shows ten times your pay/50k for a verse no album out!/Yeah my money’s so tall that my barbie’s gotta climb it/Hotter than a middle eastern climate"
DJ Skee: Nicki shut it down whether it was her on “Monster” or even her on the Trey Songz record [“Bottoms Up”] she’s just been murdering it and killing it all year so I’d say just her combination of what she’s rapping about, her style, creativity, her flow, you can literally pick a handful of Nicki verses, any of them, but that would definitely be up there. That’s been the reaction when I play it on radio—a lot of times I’ll click mix through songs. There was one time that I didn’t play her verse—I just played the first verse—and people were like, “Yo, where’s Nicki’s verse?!” I got some calls. I think she arguably had the best verse on there.
